MIT 2.007 Robot Competition
UI/UX
In 2010 I competed in the famous 2.007 robot competition class at MIT where every student is given a kit of materials and must build their own robot to compete on the competition field
I've never worked so hard in my life. I wanted to win but I also had a ton of fun working on my robot and thought about the competition day and night.
I studied the strategy carefully and realized that if I just did the primary task well and quickly no one would be able to beat me
My robot was entirely designed around the mechanism that would be needed to pull the point multiplying lever
Round after round, the mechanism worked perfectly and I scored the highest score in the competition every single time
I won first place in the competition. I donated my trophy to my high school to be a source of encouragement to the younger students
